What Are You Eating Today ?

Well yesterday went pretty good . I stayed on track basically all day till nighttime.  I ended up having a small banana and small slice of canteloupe . Im happy with that , better then what I was eating and even though I had them snacks I was well within my calorie range in fact still a little to low.

So all in all a good day food wise for me yesterday yeah !!!!

Here is my plans for today

Breakfast  two eggs, 2 tablespoons o milk and 2 tablespoons of colby jack cheese

Lunch   chicken thigh with 3 tablespoons of Italian bread crumbs ,   1/2 cup of steamer veggies love those Green Giant Steamers  and 1/4 cup of cottage cheese

Snack  banana been craving them at least its good for me lol

Dinner -- a salad with double grilled chicken on it with light Ranch Dressing (eating at bowling alley )

Snack   canteloupe


Exercise .  Richard Simmons Sweatin to the Oldies 5 for 45 min to 60 min 
Tonight is my first night of bowling league so I will be bowling tonight to .

I have to get back on track..lost only 2 lbs last month and the month before remained the same. I haven't had any fills since the 3rd month which was little...I have restriction,,my problem is eating the wrong foods and too many carbs and not enough protein cause its easier for me and I got lazy which is old bad habits. Shopped and bought junk food and prepared frozen stuff.weigh too many calories and fat content. I need to stay focus with OH it really helps me alot. Summer was tough..I return to work at the school next week not looking forward to it but it will help me otherwise...Keep up the good work, I also love white fish especially smoked....

Its so hard isn't it ??  Deep down I knew WLS surgery wouldn't cure all my problems but I still think a part of me says what the hell I had WLS done this should be alot easier then it is and its not *sigh*.

I know exactly what you are going through my friend .  The last month and half I have been eating Ice cream, chips , and more chips. I got addicted to them dang Lay's chips *sigh*.    before I had my surgery  I would eat them foods  but not sit down and pig out like I have the last month or so on them . Baffles my mind why I did this .  And I dont even like Ice Cream its not one of my favorites. My hubby can sit down and eat a tub of it and it dont even bother me and here I was sitting here eating Ice Cream !!!!

Come in here and post in this thread it really helped me yesterday because I felt like I couldn't eat bad things because then I would have to come in here and post and tell everybody what I did and I didn't want to do that lol.

I hope things get better for you its hard and even harder to get back on track

Pre-workout snack this morning: Milk and granola peanut butter bar = YUM!

Post workout snack: plum

B: Atkins Cafe Caramel Shake

S: Reduced Sodium cheddar cheese stick

L: Atkins Mocha Latte Shake

S: Pear? or another cheese stick, not sure yet

D: Baby spinach with cottage cheese, carrots, croutons and light ranch (absolutely fell in LOVE with baby spinach! It is so moist and easy to chew and delicious!) and I will also have some roast that I made a few nights ago.

So with that being said...

Calories: 1,012
Carbs: 55
Protein: 91
Total Fat: 49...a little on the high side I guess

Looks pretty good to me =)

ETA: so it's about 43% fat 36% Protein and 21% Carbs....I need to work on lowering the fat and upping the protein I think...not sure though

Exercise: Total body class, whi*****luded dumbells,jogging, pushups, reverse situps. lunges and leg lifts

I love baby spinach too. I don't eat leafy green salads much any more - not enough satiety value for me - but sometimes I just crave spinach, maybe because my body needs iron or something. It's pretty cool to have a craving for something healthy!

It's funny how our history of dieting trains us to feel guilty for having a snack even when the snack is actually very healthy.

My food today:
B: Click Vanilla Latte protein shake made w/ almond milk
S: iced skinny latte w/ SF caramel syrup
S: protein bar
L: leftover chicken patty, leftover fennel salad
S: a Babybel cheese
D: shrimp, cucumber & avocado salad, leftover polenta
S: Asian pear

No workout for me today. I missed my morning mat Pilates class because I had to go for a fasting blood test (routine screening) and there's no way I could survive an exercise class without some nourishment!

My lunch plan has changed for the day.

I just was not in the mood for steamer veggies and cottage cheese.

I am having a small salad instead with 2 tablespoons of colby cheese and 2 two tablespoons of raspberrry ff dressing.


Already got my Richard Simmons done for the day I did 45 min of my tape.

Breakfast:   1 egg, 1 1/2 pieces of bacon

Got a fill, liquids for the rest of the day.

orange 90 calorie protein drink (YUK)
lean dessert choc. shake w/ PB2
