real food pureed??
I pureed buffalo chicken once and it looked like regurgitated chicken. I couldn't puree any food after that, much less eat it.
On the pureed stage there are so many things you can eat. Like another poster said, refried beans with melted cheddar. I had Ricotta cheese with marinara sauce and some melted mozzarella, of course there is plain Greek Yogurt which packs 18 grams of protein into a 6 ounce container, tuna in those foil packet were a staple for me as they pack a good amount of protein and are already measured 3-4 ounces. There is always low fat soup that you can puree, that isn't too horrible. Thankfully the pureed stage doesn't last all that long!!
Good luck!!

I pureed many different foods. I would cook a regular meal with protein, veg and starch and puree some of it for me, adding broth, milk, water, citrus juice, mayo, sour cream, yogurt or whatever as needed to achieve a smooth consistency.
Some foods don't puree very well, like green beans and Brussels sprouts. For that reason, I suggest that you puree your foods one food item at a time rather than throw everything into the food processor all at once.
