went in for a fill, but the doc suggested to wait.....
I had a fill about 4 weeks ago and was suppose to have another one Friday, but I had lost 5 lbs, so the doc said that I was doing good and said that I didn't need one. I have 4 1/2ccs in my band and really don't feel any restriction. I guess I'll go back in 4 more weeks and see if I am still loosing. Sometimes I get frustrated because I'm not loosing fast enough. Oh well, I've lost 33 lbs in 6 months and would love to loose 40 more in the next 6 months, any advice would be appreciated....
That is great :o) 5-8 pounds per month is the average on what a lapbander is suppose to lose anyways its a nice safe healthy weight loss per month :o)
Dont get frustrated Carol. There will be times you might go two weeks or even as long as a couple of months not losing weight. All you can do is do what you suppose to be doing and eventually the weight will come off.
I have been stuck for a good month and half now but I brought some of that on myself also I got lazy in exercise, and eating to many foods I shouldn't be eating every day .
Just keep up the great work. Just remember we didn't put this weight on overnight and its not going to come off overnight . Slower the better actually . The slower you lose the better chance you have to keep it off .
