Laughing & Bragging
This morning I bought a pair of size 10 cargo style knit crop pants at Wal-Mart for $9 without trying them on first (I should know better). When I got home, I cut off the tags and put them on, quite pleased with my purchase. I like the knit fabric - no ironing and very comfy - and they have a real waistband and zipper, so they're not old lady elastic waist pants, you know?
Except twice since I got home, I've marched into the bathroom to use the toilet and just pulled the pants down as if they did have an elastic waist.
Now here's the bragging part. When I pulled the pants down without undoing the button and zipper, they slid right down! I probably should've bought a size 8!

P.S. - and entirely off topic, I must also brag about the wedding card I made for a coworker today. It just might be the most beautiful card I've ever made. In this photo it looks beigey but the color scheme is actually charcoal, black, gold and white.

Gorgeous card! Everybit as beautiful as the wall plaque you made me which is proudly hanging in my bedroom, thanks again! Maybe you could stitch a small piece of elastic on the inside waist band to tighten them drawers up a bit. If I were you I wouldn't wear them outside the house, could be an embarr"ass"ing event! Way to go skinny!
an embarr"ass"ing event!
Wearing your pants with the waistband around your knees seems to be popular with teenaged boys, but I don't think that's a good look for me!
