Genuinely Worried!

Thanks Hermosa, its good to know its not just me and that there isn't something wrong. I went from 1cc to .5cc this last time, and that has proven to be unsuccessful as well, so I think I will have them try the .2cc. It just amazes me how fickle this little piece of plastic is!

Hi there! I'm new to this site but i've had my band since April 2004. I was doing a google search and this thread popped up. Can I ask you if you have this reflux during the day as well?

I feel fine during the day, I eat reasonable meals and I have no discomfort at all. My reflux has progressively got worse over the last 3 years but the last 12months I occasionally wake up choking on bile. There's been a few times that i've had a sore lung for a few days after these episodes along with shortness of breath. It's not a nice experience is it!

I have found that even though I make sure I eat dinner hours before I go to bed that if I have rice or potato's (even the smallest amounts) it's a guarantee that I will have reflux that night.

I had a barium swallow done a few days ago to see where the band is positioned and I have an appointment with my surgeon tomorrow. Hopefully a minor adjustment will fix the problem.
 
Although I exerciese and eat properly these days I have become very dependant on my band and fear that if I have to get it removed that I will balloon again.

Anyway I just though i'd share my experience.

Oh how do I get one of those tickers things in the signatures???
