Finding my way...
The past couple of weeks have been crazy. We had our annual BBQ and while I was good the day of the BBQ, the leftovers got the best of me. This past weekend, I hosted a huge event at my job. This required a LOT of physical work as well as a great deal of stress. My trainer was away on vacation this past week and I didn't work out anywhere near the intensity I should. So, when all was said and done, I am up 2lbs. UGH!!!
As I discern my situation, here's what I have found.
- I'm grateful that the events went well, and that they're over.
- I'm grateful that while I gained 2lbs, it could've been more.
- I'm grateful that while I ate the wrong foods and too much of them, my
band still kept me from totally pigging out (thank you LapBand!!
)
- I still need to figure out how to handle life when things get crazy.
- I need to get my a** back into the gym and work it.
- I need to get back to eating the proper foods and portions.
- Those 2lbs can (and will) be gone by the end of the week.
- I know my OH friends will be with me on my journey.
I have my appt with the Dr a week from tomorrow. I have only had one fill since my surgery six months ago, so I'm thinking it's time for another one.

You definitely have the right mindset to do this!!! You have done amazingly well in your journey so far. 2 pounds is nothing in the scheme of things!!!
Good luck getting back on track. I know that my motivation for myself, being almost 5 months out, is that I am so going to take full advantage of these early months because I have YEARS ahead of me to continue to do this and it's going to get SO much harder!!

You can do this Barbara :o) It's hard to get back on track when you lose your motivation. I have been going through what you have been the last two weeks. So, I know what you are going through its hard.
Today is a brand new day , a fresh week we can do this together and start fresh today. Got my menu sort of planned out and going to Zumba tonight so hit the gym tonight and get back to exercise :o)

Everyone is going to run into some crazy weeks here or there or days/weeks when our resolve is not what we would prefer, but how awesome for you that you were able to catch it at just 2 lbs and evaluate the situation.
That is really a victory and I am confident you will be back to losing again soon.
