URGENT ADVICE NEEDED: Riding roller coaster with the band
Enjoy yourself. One thing about the lazy river is it can give you an abdominal workout. If you are trying to chat with someone or look around you will constantly be pulling your torso up and in sort of like the "Ab Doer" machine. I am not telling you not to do it, but just expect to be sore the next day.
My doc didn't give any instructions and I never saw him long enough to ask all this. I've been swimming laps (breast and back stroke) since I hit 2 weeks out. Fairly vigourus too be I usually use the wirepool and swim againt the current. I haven't had a single bit of pain swelling or redness on my abdomin. Pushing on my port hurt a little a week ago but not at all now. I was just under the impression that two weeks should be more than enough time. I've also been biking about 30 miles a week with no issues.
You need to do what you and your medical team say is OK, different docs give different advice. Mine was clear, no exercise which pulled on the ab muscles for 6 weeks in order to allow the sutures to fully heal and for scar tissue to form to imbed them firmly.
But I am no doc! If your doc had thought this was important, I am sure he would have told you.

This thread s a classic example of listening to our own docs!
one says nothing
one says exercise risks pulling sutures
one says swimming risks infecting a wound up to 4 weeks pst op.
Docs just don't agree! We must all listen to our own particular doc!! And then use common sense!
