Shake It Up Baybee...
My surgeon said that any protein powder was ok as long as it has at least 22 g protein, 200 cals or less, and less than 10 g of sugar. My girlfriend had the surgery a year ago and likes Syntha 6. She said it dissolves easy (not lumpy) and taste good - I found it at Nutrition Depot. I posted some recipes today that the surgeon gave me during my pre op appt. that look pretty good. Hope this helps! Good Luck ![](http://images.obesityhelp.com/_shared/images/smiley/msn/smile.gif)

If you have a GNC, their Whey Protein mixes for shakes are pretty good, and fairly reasonable. I added some peanut butter (wish I'd gotten the PB2 then), half of a small banana, and it was really good! I wish I had gotten some of the tastless protein powder to add to soups, because the sweet stuff (and I used to be a BIG sweets and bread eater) got kinda old. When you get to mushies, you'll think you've died and gone to heaven. Lotza Luck!

I got very sick of the sweet protein powders, and never really found one I thought was that good. Unjury has a creamy chicken soup that I like and having something savory seemed like a life saver. They have a sample pack you can order to see what you like, as well.
I had tried TONS of protein powder and spent alot of money. I found Syntha 6 at Nutrition World and LOVE it. I have used all the flavors and all of them are great. Mochachinno (spelling?) is awesome in the morning. I love them. All the other ones seemed to have an odor and after taste. Syntha 6 smells good and tastes just as good.
