9yrs post-op RNY, 7 wks BOB - Craving sweets (cross post)

 9 years ago Monday I had my Gastric Bypass and 7 weeks ago I was Banded (BOB).  I am down like 30lbs and feel restriction again for the 1^st time in 3-4yrs.  I still have a ways to go [305 in 2002, 175 in 2003, 246 before BOB and now 220ish] but I am loving love again. I get my 2^nd fill on Monday and hoping it helps kick my plateau.  I just started exercising again (i.e. doing more than walking as I walk a ton anyway living in Manhattan).  But, let me tell you something…I AM CRAVING SWEETS. All I do is eat protein, salads, veggiess, more protein.  No shakes (yuck).  I am getting 80+ g of protein a day and I am happy to report, my hair never looked better. But, I need something sweet. I think something small, delicious, an amuse bush (as they would say on Top Chef) that is about 100-200 calories. 

Any recommendations?

I’m also craving some Naan bread but I don’t even DARE.

 Go get you them little skinny cow ice cream things they have in the store, or go get you a small candy bar and enjoy it , or go to McDonald's and get you a child's ice cream cone.   When my family wants cones I just get the kiddie size or take a few bites of hubby's .

I went and bought me some Skinny cow  Chocolate Peanut Butter Ice Cream Sandwiches 150 calories.

Dont know if they are good or not I haven't had one yet lol I keep forgetting they are in the freezer. lol.

 They are a little pricey, but Adora calcium chocolate disks are awesome!  They have milk chocolate and dark chocolate.  It's fun to look forward to that piece of chocolate each day!

Don't know if you have a Schwan's service in your area, but they have a 50 calorie chocolate ice cream on a stick from their Live Smart line.  It's not skimpy and tastes delicious.  Even dh loves them. (Eats 2 at a time.)

Debbie do they still make a wildberry yogurt ice cream or something like that. I'm not a ice cream lover but dang that stuff was awesome lol

I like the peanut butter and chocolate Pure Protein bars. 200 cals. & 20 grams of prot. They satisfy my candy bar craving.
