YAY! Ok...I think everyone is different. I am a teacher and my surgery date was the 13th of August... I was worn out and uncomfortable... I had about 2 weeks before school started and I needed them. Just make sure you rest enough while you are home, and make sure you get all of your protien...that helps so much. Good luck and keep us posted!
Congrats!
I took 10 days because I could, but a week would have been o.k. It depends what kind of work you do...if you sit at a desk you would probably be o.k. after 4 days, but if you can, I'd take a week. It is a major surgery afterall. It's not so much that pain, but the tiredness that caught me by surprise.
Best~

Thanks for the input... I actually just came back from a week vacation in Mexico... Obviously i needed a tan before surgery lol.
So I dont want to take TOO much time off, because I have so much coming up... Hoping to look a litl different for a friends wedding early novemeber
However, im a receptionist and my job involves mostly sitting which ive grown to hate... so I tend to wander off whenever I get the chance...
I heard walking a lot afterwards help w/ the gas and such... Is this true??
and to those getting banded in August... CONGRATS!!!!!
