Please tell me how you manage to plan everything.  I am 2 months out, down 30 pounds all told... but not losing anymore.  I know this is normal... I am not frustrated yet.  I just feel I could be doing better eating and excersicing.  I know I could.  My "excuse" I suppose is this... I barely have enough time to take care of them, the kids.  they are 5, 4 and 1.  So I do what I can.  I am eating much less granted... and I try to feed them nutritious foods.... I just am having the "I can't do everything" moment.  Any ideas???  Thanks!

The stalled stage happens to us all. Don't beat yourself up. You will continue to lose just take one day at a time. I'm so glad you helped yourself (surgery) while they were young. Many of us put everything into our children and we lose ourselves in the process. Focus on taking small steps. You can't do everything all at once. Don't beat yourself up. Everyday is a new day to start off in the right direction. You might need to put the scale away for a couple of days and focus on eating correctly without the added "number pressure". Hang in there....this stall is just that a stall. You will be off to losing again soon. Best wishes!!!

Don't set huge goals for yourself.  You have alot on your plate (so to speak).  Try to incorporate very small amounts of excercise in...you don't have to start training for a marathon.  Part of the lifestyle change is figuring out what works for you.  Maybe 2xs/week you can toss the kiddoes in a stroller and walk them somewhere for 20 minutes...start little and then you won't  get in the cycle of feeling bad about yourself because you didn't do enough!

I had this problem too (thinking I didn't have time because of the kids)....I just started working out at home....when the kids would be outside playing, I'd run around the yard or hop on the eliptical (I have one, which I put on our patio so I could do just that)...I'd hop on the treadmill (or if you don't have one, take a walk/run with the kids with you (littlest one can be along in the stroller)).  What I discovered is that it actually sparked an interest in my oldest (who is now 8, but was 6 when I started this).....she became interested in "getting healthy" with me - so she wanted to go for bike rides, and run on the treadmill, or run at the park or play tennis, or whatever it was that I was doing and I just made sure to include them in it a fair amount of times (and then they were more understanding and I felt less guilt when I'd go off to do those same things on my own to get a "real" workout in, LOL).  The hardest part (for me) was getting started, once I started, there was no stopping me!

My 2 YO wake up saying I wanna go park! -  So like the PP said -  we play.  We even run around the house pretending to be dragons.  I walk after work.  My DH usually  watches the kidds  -  but when he can't I throw them in the stroller!

Thanks everyone.  My oldest, my 5 year old daughter loves to excercise with me.  My $ year old, not so much.  I need to get a new bike and take them biking.  Mine was stolen.  I appreciate your advice and support.  I know I can not be super mom, and I know I still need time for me... but knowing something and fitting it in, well you know....  Thanks again!
