first fill appt in two years--please help!

I had the band 4 years ago, and long story short, had it repositioned 1.5 years after the first surgery.  By that time I had lost momentum and have fallen off the bandwagon since.  I have finally decided to pick myself and dust myself off and get an adjustment.  I have been eating around my band and believe that I have stretched my pouch, but am now committed to eating the right way.  Should they empty my band and allow my pouch to come down to size, tighten me and put me on a liquid diet for a while, or something else?  Thanks for any input!

An Upper GI ( barium swallow ) would show the status of your band and upper stomach / esophagus.  If it were me, I would want an UGI done and then progress from there.

I agree with Kristi.  After 2 years you should have one done anyway.  My surgeon requires them annually.

I hope all is well and you can move forward without having to get an unfill.

Thanks, guys!  If they find that the pouch is stretched, what do you think they will do?
