For you NEW KIDS, HERE ARE THE RULES:

"B*TCHFest"  is provided as a public service to those of us who have gripes and grievances but who (whom?), for whatever reason, lack a regular forum in which to air them. You are welcome to voice any problems - large or small, important, mundane or ridiculous -  that currently have your panties wadded, your shorts frosted and your gears ground. Don't hold them in and risk future medical issues, wrinkles and/or those pesky gray hairs.

ANY and ALL issues that are plaguing you are open for you to voice; there are no "sacred cows." They say that "feelings aren't facts", so if you're feeling it, it's legit to you. NO ONE is allowed to flame a poster for something he or she writes, however commiseration is not only welcomed but encouraged. Please, no personal attacks against other OH members (at least, not by name) and
ABSOLUTELY NO SURGERY WARS!

I'll start you off with a few gripes of mine, and you all can join in at any time! No limits - come back as many times as you like!

I'm actually in  a not-so-terribly-terrible mood today, so my list should be fairly short. YOU, on the other hand, may feel free to rant until you feel better.

- I'm not *****ING about this, but I'm trying to figure out how I went from having NO job to speak of to having FOUR irons in the fire at the same time. Nothing permanent, all freelance with no bennies - but still, it's nice to have work to do. It's just a little mind-boggling how things played out in the last few days!

- Working nights is throwing off my internal clock. Again - not *****ing per se, but I'm trying to figure out how to deal with it. I'm on nights this week and next, then days, then nights again, then days. God bless my "dark master": caffeine.

- If science can invent a patch for everything else, why can't they invent the caffeine patch, so I can just slap that ****** on in the morning and get the rush that much faster?

- I need a maid, or at least a lackey/toadie that can clean my house, do the laundry, do the dishes, etc. I'm just too damned lazy to want to do it. Well, I guess my beef is with MYSELF, for not wanting to get off my ass and do it my damned self.

Oh, that's it for now. Your turn. Have at it! ***** away!!!

My main ***** is I am in my sister in laws wedding on 9/4. First it was the dress, strapless (really?). I am a VERY busty girl and no way in hell was I finding a strapless bra to hold these babies up!! Dress was $79, bra I find that will semi-work was $74! Now shoes, $60 for a pair of shoes I will wear once!!!

Now comes the fun part, I threw her the bridal shower. Now there is 3 other girls in this wedding as well. I paid about $1100.00 for everything. Their contribution was $100 between 2 of them. Really?? Where the hell can you throw a bridal shower or any party for that fact for 100 effin dollars?????

The wedding is Labor Day weekend, and to pay for a hotel down in the Seaside Heights area that weekend is insane!
I do wish her well, but I can't wait for it to be over!

That's it for now! Thanks Bette

I'm glad you did this because I was going to make a post off topic that has nothing to do with weight loss lol.

I found my cat has been ******g upstairs in my hallway and now there is this god awful smell if you have cats you know what that damn cat pee smells like :o(.

I do need new carpet but there is no way I can afford that right now , there is some other matters that have to be taken care first before I can even think about carpet and once I start that project it goes from upstairs, down the stairs and my downstairs  hallway so its not a small project *sigh*.

I have tried everything.  Today I did the carpets I put in Resolve pet cleaner, threw in some lavender Lysol and some of this stuff called pee pee crap that said it would take Oder out .

I can still smell it , I dont know if its because the carpets are wet right now and it wont be so bad when they dry

Any suggestions ??  I dont know why the cat has started to do this but I got pissed and threw it outside .  My house smells so bad right now it makes you gag walking up the stairs.

And they say once it starts going in a place especially if there is a smell there they will keep going *sigh*.   I see me getting rid of a cat  .

You need an enzyme cleaner, not just something to mask the odor.  I use Nature's Miracle.  It's not cheap but it works better than any I've ever tried.  Saturate the ares of carpet all the way down through the pad.  Rub lightly, cover with plastic, (like a dry cleaners bag or large hefty bags, etc.****il the moisture has evaporated.  You may have to repeat a couple of times but I've had success with this method.  I found it in a book called the Queen of Clean.

Good luck with that!  I've had cats all my life and it's an impossible thing to stop.  You'll have to isolate the cats or they'll just keep going back to the same spots.

Of course, if it's sudden behavior you need to rule out UTI, etc.

White vinegar! Undiluted poured on the spot. It usually works best if you put it on the area before you use anything else. The white vinegar neutralizes the amonia smell from the urine.

I also agree with Jrzyboriqua make sure that the cat doesn't have a urinary tract infection.

Have you taken the cat to the vet to see if it might have a bladder infection?  Sometimes cats change their litter box habits all of a sudden if they have a urinary problem going on.  I was just wondering.

Stelerfan, there is a very reasonable product called Spot Shot that really works on the smell, and everything.  I went through the same with an old cat and a dog too, at the same time.  I tried everything for the smell.  I found Spot Shot after having some small success with the vinegar and also baking soda (when the area was finally dry).  Not sure if it was a combination of them all, but I do know that just before I actually lost my mind, I found Spot Shot at W*l M*rt, and have used it occasionally ever since. For me it was a Godsend cause I go a little nuts over smells in my house.
