What are we eating this Tuesday?
Good Morning! I hope everyone is having a fantastic week!!!! Here in St. Louis, we finally have a break from the heat and it is gorgeous outside. If only I didn't have all these inside chores to do, I could spend the whole day out there! The kids go back to school on Thurs and I feel like I need to get this house organized. Wish we luck! As for my eating today, it goes like this ....
Early: Coffee
B: Click Vanilla Latte Protein Shake made with Soy Milk
L: Green Monster Smoothie (spinach, frozen banana, soy milk, greek yogurt and PB2)
Snack: Babybel Light
Dinner: Beef Pho (new soup from Trader Joe's, it was a sample yesterday and the kids loved it. It is in the freezer section. You just add water. Sounded like a good busy night kind of meal. And since we have 2 open houses for school tonight, I am thinking it is a god night for it.
ETA: Forgot to add in my workout. Today was 65 min elliptical and 30 minutes strength training.
Have a great day! I hope others chime in on their meal plans. I know it helps me so much to see what others are eating. Keeps me motivated to tell you all what I am eating too. Makes me not want to cheat .

B: Atkins cafe caramel shake
L: Atkins double chocolate shake
S: Reduced Sodium String cheese
D: Meat of some kind and a veggie
Thank god the cookie cake is GONE today! I ate a little yesterday but it was so good...oops
Exercise, is going to be a rest day because my muscles hurt so bad but it's back to the gym for spin class tomorrow. BUT I went for 10 min walk on break and will do another one this afternoon. We are doing a "step competition" here at work and I am trying to get the most steps in during the day so we can win the prize!!! So that's great motivation to get my booty moving.
Have a great day everyone!

Just wanted to say I LOVE the Atkins cafe caramel shakes!! You should try the cafe mocha shakes as they're fantastic as well. I haven't tried the double chocolate shake yet...I may have to buy a four pack to try since I think they sell them in bulk at Sam's Club. However I have a question...how long do you stay full off of one shake?
I love the mocha one too! I use the chocolate ones as my "chocolate fix" lol. I love all of them, I haven't tried vanilla because I am not a huge fan of vanilla. I stay full for a few hours then have a little snack in between but to be honest I just sip on them. I stick them in the freezer for about an hour to an hour and a half until they just barely start to freeze (kind of like a slushy) and then I sip on it through a straw. Takes me about a half hour to drink one. I have a hard time eating in the morning so I have one every single morning and I never get tired of them lol.
Yes thanks for starting this! It will definitely keep me accountable.
Early: Atkins cafe caramel shake
B: Chobani non-fat blueberry greek yogurt
Snack: 11 cherries
L: Portobello mushroom cap burger (YUMMY! got the recipe from allrecipes.com) with a slice of provolone. I'm skipping the bread and just placing the cap on top of red onions, lettuce, tomato, and a couple slices of avocado.
D: Island Insanity Burger (I got the recipe from Hungrygirl.com. The recipe calls for a vegan meatless patty from Boca, 1 pineapple slice, 1 slice FF cheddar and teriyaki marinade. It looks good so I'm gonna try it tonight...crossing my fingers it's tasty. Oh and it says the entire recipe with bread is 270 calories and 24g protein).
Enjoy the rest of your day everyone!
