Now I know we all have days where we feel like failures and that can be depressing. When that happens I like to look back at where I have came from. Sure I am not at goal yet, but I am happy and healthy and slowly reaching for it. Here is a before and current picture. Its good to see the progress.

Lap Band surgery Nov. 2008, SW 335. Lost 116 lbs. LB removal May 2013 gained 53 lbs. Revisied to RNY October 14, 2013, new SW 275.

Tara,
You look great. I am thinking about having this surgery but am on the fence about the aftercare. I am attending a seminar next week that will dicuss all options.
I do have a question- after your surgery, how quick did you start losing the weight and what type of surgery did you have.

Lap Band on 12/19/07

I started losing right away. But it was a slow loss and I am ok with that. I had the lapband and the thing you have to remember is it is a TOOL. The band will not make you lose weight without any effort. I hope that helps!
