Help I swallowed a piece of gum

Ok - so I am in Washington at a conference for work and at the exhibit booth one of my staff offered me a piece of gum, which I took without thinking ( still new to this band thing!). Anyway, I was busy trying to sell a customer something when I accidentally swallowed the gum, that's when I remembered that I wasn't even supposed to have it in the first place. I am pretty sure it is stuck because I can feel it there. What can I do to move it? I can ge****er down but do have to take a client out for dinner tonight and I am worried I won't be able to eat!

Are you still having problems with the gum being stuck? I would imagine a small sip of something carbonated might dissolve the gum at least enough to move it through the stoma.

Hi there, thanks for the tip. I thought the same thing would work but when I called the clinic they said just eat dinner and it will force the food through. It seems to have worked and I managed to eat dinner with my clients!

Good news! I'm glad to hear you didn't have problems. Dang gum! You know it's gonna sit in your tummy for, like, 7 years, right?   Isn't that the urban legend?!

OMG that is gross, I hope not. Anyway, I learned my lesson, no gum is going near this mouth ever again. I'll stick with Tic Tacs!

2 x's here!!!  I just don't learn!    Relax and I then drink a hot cup of coffee.   Then sip warm or hot liquids for 24 hours!

I don't suggest gum chewing at all, I am just a damn addict that learns the hard way!!!  I haven't chewed gum in a while, but still miss it!
