Can anyone get me some tips on a Lap Band diet?  I'm having a very difficult time lossing the weight.  I'm getting frustrated and I am thinking of having it remove.

Thank you

Welll...
You dont give a lot of information..

How long have you had the band? What was your surgeons diet instructions ?
When did you last see your surgeon? Are you following with a nutritionist?

How much have you lost? How much left to lose?

I am losing slower than I lik, but I also know I do not always make the right food choices.
I also am not exercising as much as I should be...
My nutritionist and surgeons plan calls for 1/2-1 cup of food.
I usually try to have my protein first. and then my veggies.

I don't know about your doc, but mine says 1/2 cup (or 3 ozs.) of protein, 1/4 c veggies, 1/4 c fruits or carbs per meal and 3 meals a day.  He doesn't really like snacks, but I do add a snack or 2 a day.  He says exercise and though I started out walking, the heat index of 110-115 has curtailed that till mid to late Sept.  I do Curves Zumba, in the air conditioning.  Also, one of the OH vets said to increase fiber.  So I bought some fiber gummies, that I chew 2 to 3 times a day.  And some clear, tastless, generic Benef*ber, that I put in my coffee daily.  She was right, it helped.  Good Luck to you.
