Hope you are having a great summer so far.   This coming sunday is our monthly support group meeting.    The topic this month is " SUPPORT YOUR WLS".    Hope that you will be able to make this meeting.   We will also be discussing the Obesity Help Conference coming up in New Orleans, La. Can anyone attend this support group? I had a RNY back in Oct 2000 and now I am looking to have a Lap Band revision. Just a little background info about my situation....I started @ 280 lb and lost down to 148 lbs. I managed to mantain for 6 yrs, then over the next couple of yrs my weight started creepy up to 180 lbs. Now, I weigh 212. I feel very discouraged and disappointed in myself. I've suffered some severe depression over the past 2 yrs as most of my immediate family have passed away. Now, I am in a much better  frame of mind and need to get this extra weight off! I figured a support group might be a good start. 

 Yes Mam....anyone who wants to come to my meetings are more than welcome to come regardless of what surgery they had or even if they are pre op they are welcome.    We would be honored to have you attend.    But please let me know if you plan on coming so I will have enough materials and samples for everyone.     Hope to meet you on sunday and encourage you too.

I was really hoping to make this meeting....but my son needs to go shopping for college items...so I don't think I can this month....maybe next time.
