Medical Question

Hello,

I have another question.  I will also ask my doctor, but it just popped into my head and I figured I'd ask ya'll first.  I am in the process of jumping through the insurance hoops for the Lap-Band surgery and should have it around the beginning of November.  Because of all of the different doctor's visits I have reached my yearly deductible for my insurance.  I would like to have a vasectomy.  Do you think that would affect having the Lap Band surgery?  I would get the vasectomy before the other surgery.  Thanks

As long as you have the procedures a couple weeks apart, I wouldn't think there would be any problem.

You might as well take advantage of having your insurance deductible paid........lots of people do this and medical schedules get tight at year end.  Planning ahead, as you are, is a good idea.

Seeing that it's just a simple out paitient procedure I don't see why you can't as long as there is 2 weeks to heal before you have the band surgery.

Thank you both for the reassurance.  I figured it should not be an issue as long as they were spread out.  And of course I am going to check with my Dr.

Thanks
