I just open the drink they told be to buy 2 - 10 oz bottles. They are carbonated. The Doc doing the colonoscopy works with band patients all the time why would he give me a carbonated drink. I have been stirring it and shaking it for about 10 minutes but it still seems foamy. What should I do?

I don't think that 20 ounces of that carbonated prep liquid will hurt your band. My only problem with carbonated beverages is that it's uncomfortable to drink them.

It may be too late to give advise, now. But mine was not carbonated. It did taste AWFUL! I would have called and asked for a non carbonated one or at least called and made sure it was OK for you to drink it. I've head there is a pill you can take, instead, also. Like Jean, I'm sure a little bit of carbonation wouldn't hurt, some people still drink soda's. I hope it went OK!
