This is a process ---- and overfilling the band is a really, really bad idea.
Read this board for a while and you will see that many, many of the 'bad band stories' start with people whose bands were too tight.
Try to visualize the band around your stomach --- like a belt around your jeans -- the band alone is SOME restriction --- and now you have 3cc MORE restriction ---- is it perfect? maybe not -- but it is more than you had last week -- and you were able to survive last week.
Go back to very basic eating -- weigh/measure your food, eat tiny bites that are well chewed.
clear your mouth of food before you take your next bite ---- you will be surprised that after 10 well chewed bites that your hunger will begin to dim.
Do not expect to feel 'full' ----- it can take 15 or 20 minutes AFTER I finish eating to feel satisfied -- I just make myself stop eating when my measured portion runs out ---- and I tell myself that if I wait 20 minutes and want more, that I can re-evaluate and decide if I really want more -- and I never do.
Don't expect the band to keep you from eating ---- expect that if you feed yourself good solid protein in small quantities that it will satisfy you and keep you from needing more food for about 3 or 4 hours.

I just had my first fill last week and I had 3ccs also. I didn't feel any restriction at first. Just this week am I starting to feel the restriction from my fill. I'm noticing that I'm getting halfway through my 4 oz of food and already starting to feel full....hope it all works out for you, just hang in there for a little bit
