How Depressing!
i truly don't think the insurance company looks at end weight BECAUSE in many cases you are required to lose a substantial amount of weight to prove to the docs/Ins Co that you are a good compliant candidate. Also, the guidelines state 100 lbs overweight OR 40 BMI. If you are considering lapband, they have reduced the guidelines to 30 BMI.
I wouldn't worry about it and don't gain the weight back, you will be fine!
