I have been struggling the last couple of days.
And I'm not sure why. And I'm not even sure why I feel the need to post it except that I think I want to "say it out loud." I've eaten too much a couple of times. I've eaten when I wasn't hungry. And I even ate icecream (which, for me anyway, is a no no trigger food). And last but not least, I skipped excercise on Sunday and Monday.
I will stop these little cheats before they become big cheat.

Sometimes it does help to just say it "out loud" in front of other people.
I know you're not sure why you've been struggling, but it mightbe a good idea to think some more about that. Have you been experiencing stress? Boredom? Have you been sleeping well? Is the climate in your area by any chance in its miserably hot summer mode? Is there anything you can do to take extra good care of yourself right now so that you don't have to turn to food for comfort (or whatever)?
The events you report are not hugely serious if you don't repeat them on a regular basis (but eating too much at one time on a consistent basis is asking for trouble). It may just be that you need a little band vacation. I just got back from a 10-day vacation during which I didn't work out at all (though I did do plenty of walking) and ate a generous serving of homemade ice cream 6 days in a row (it was made by my hostess's' charming dad and forced upon me by my hostess while I lay on the sofa while tied up and struggling valiantly to resist). I lost 2.8 lbs, and I think I've got all most of the bratty stuff out of my system now, so it's back to basics for me now!

Thanks for the TLC. I got up this morning, ran 2 miles, ate a small protein packed breakfast, and feel great! Jean I think you hit the nail on the head...I was feeling "bratty." Bratty and pissed that I can't shovel everything in my mouth that I want to, everytime I want to. Shaken myself, dusted off, and back to it!
