UGI results at my 2 year checkup

looked GREAT!  I love my band!    At the Radiology clinic they commented on how great I looked and told me they hadn't seen anyone with as large as a weight loss as myself.  AND that everything looked good when I swallowed the barium drink.  I went to the surgeon's office immediately after my UGI to hear that nothing had changed from a year ago, other than being 12 pounds lighter.  So even though I have had NO problems, it's still nice to hear that my band is okay.

Good job! Just curious how many CC's are in your band and how big is your band?

Thanks!  I have 8cc's in a 10cc band.  My surgeon said that we all have different sizes of stomachs, so comparing fluid volumes doesn't tell the entire story.  I might be loose at 8 and some couldn't tolerate 4 cc's.

Great news, Kristi!

I am scheduling a UGI tomorrow -- I have not had one and want to make sure that my band is doing well.

Great news...but just wondering about the UGI and drinking the barium....I had a hard enough time drinking it before the band....not sure I could do it....is there any other way they can check things out??
