My husband had the Lap Band surgery about 3 years ago. How far out is too far for an adjustment?

Has he never had an adjustment since banding surgery?

If he's healthy and having no complications, he can get the band adjusted any time.

I'm not sure what you mean by "how far it too far". Unless your husband's band has already been filled beyond its official capacity, and assumuning that a fill or adjustment is indicated based on his weight loss & hyealth, his band can be adjusted at any time, whether it's 3 months, 3 years, or 30 years after surgery.

There is no limit.

Highest 290, Banded - 248 Lowest 139 (too thin!). Comfort zone 155-165.

Happily banded since May 2006. Regain of 28lbs 2013-14. ALL GONE!

But some has returned! Up to 175, argh! Off we go again,
