holy mother lover......
Hi Jamie!
I'm sorry you went through that. Hope you are healing well.
I can't really add anything that hasn't already been said about how to address things.
I wasn't sure if "bad headache" means a migraine, but I suffer from migraines so I wanted to share a tid bit of advice. My doc and I spoke about treatments before my band was placed. He told me that he doesn't want me to take Excedrine Migraine (the best migraine med out there!) and wants me to take fioricet instead.
Maybe you can talk to your doc about an alternative med in case you get a bad headache again.
Good luck!!

Thank you again for everyone's replys. I have pretty much stuck to liquid for the weekend, because solids still make my stomach hurt a little bit. I think I will defiantly be calling the doc tomorrow, if for nothing else, to get a peace of mind, that what I'm feeling will pass. I will try the Prilosec, hopefully it will help. Thanks again everyone....Only takes once to make a stupid mistake, one that I will NEVER make again!!! whew!!!

Sorry you had that issue. I had to ask about Excedrin for migraines because that is what I take. My doc said it was okay. I took them the other day Thank GOD they didn't get stuck. They are they only thing that works for me. Usually as I lose weight I have less of them they arrive with my cycle. Is that when you get them?
I have more like chronic headaches. But some of them last 2-3 weeks at a time. Usually Excedrine would take them away, but I haven't taken any since surgery. Well I won't take them anymore. I do get migraines, but haven't had one since surgery. I don't have any issues w/ Advil or tylenol. I haven't really noticed any changes in my headaches patterns as I have lost weight. I thought for sure they would have gotten less, but not the case so far.
I don't feel that they got stuck, but it just felt like it ripped my stomach apart. Almost like it "burned" my stomach? Im sure it didn't, but thats what it felt like. One of the above posters said about when they take meds they make sure they don't lay down right after. Well thats what I did. I took my meds and went and laid down, thinking some rest would help. Oh hell no!! for the first time in my life, I regretted sleeping!!! I will just make sure I wont take them anymore and I will make sure I have enough to drink, I wont lay down and have a full belly....thank you though so much for your reply!
