Lilly, You are too tight.  You can have a slight unfill and you will continue to lose weight.  If you stay too tight for too long you will have a slip or worse a erosion. Go get a slight unfill so you won't risk losing your band later on.  Good luck and keep us posted.  Also, before you have your gallbladder removed, make sure it is not that you are too tight... I was too tight and the pain that I had was similar to gallstones, but after all the tests, they found that my gallbladder was fine, and that I was just too tight.  Be your own advocate and go see your doc.  Don't be scared... it will be fine. HUGS!

Please tell your surgeon this.  You can get aspiration pneumonia and it can be serious.  I was told if I ever had reflux to immediately let my surgeon know.

My band has always been on the looser side and I'm thrilled with my weight loss.

It's better to get an unfilled because you are putting yourself at risk for esophageal cancer .

Lilly - Definitely ask Dr. Shinn to do a small unfill.  Also, you know they moved their offices, right?  Good Luck!

Ladies for heavens sake please get some fill taken out! You are causing yourself unneccesary pain and possibly the loss of your bands all together! It is NEVER good to be too tight and you most definately are if you are getting this on a regular basis.
