I am starting fresh tomorrow after not sticking to the band rules for the last several months. Please share your favorite protein shake recipe. I plan to use that for my breakfast to help me get back on the losing track. Thanks.

Protein shakes do not satisfy my hunger -- so I don't drink them.

I eat Greek yogurt or fiber-rich cereal for breakfast.
Sometimes I have a Luna Bar (or other protein bar) and then a small piece of fruit later in the morning.

I take one scoop unjury chocolate, one scoop vanilla latte click, and mix with 10 ounces of skim milk.

Or, 8 oz milk, a couple dollops of greek yogurt, a scoop of chocolate unjury, and half a banana.

I have half a greek yogurt for breakfast, then walk, then Muscle Milk protein shake after walk.

I was looking for recipes on OH and found a link that I will share with you with "protein balls". This is kinda weird, but I thought they sounded good. It's on the blog of someone who appears to have been a very dear person, but had a sad outcome. (It's a heart breaker). I wanted to share the recipies since they look good, but I didn't want to take credit for them. Here's the link:

I plan to try them when I'm up to soft or regular foods.
Good luck with your new start.

A friend recommended this website:

I haven't tried very many of the recipes, but they all sound delicious.  Some of them I have altered.  The friend that recommended the link loves the recipes.

I've seen the Luna bars but they carbs they have are through the roof high.  The only bars I've seen with low carbs is the adkins bars.  But then again, my surgeon said that until I've reach my goal he doesn't want me near the bars.

I'm not a low carb fanatic like a lot of OH'ers are on here. Luna does seem to have more carbs, but think about it............prior to 10 yrs. ago when the low carb craze started............ppl went on diets all the time and lost weight! So obviously more to it than carbs, right?

I usually don't do protein supplements/shakes/bars unless I get an adjustment (I liketo fill my belly up with real foods).  But when and if I do, any recipe from Shelly's website, www.theworldaccordingtoeggface.com, are pretty darn good!

Take care and enjoy!
