OT: Talk to me about rudeness . . .
I'm working an a blog post about basic, day-to-day rudeness and would love to have you share your stories.
From salespeople not bothering to say "please" or "thank you"
to the driver in front of you who won't get off the phone
to the screaming kid at the grocery store
to the things that make you want to tear your hair out
and punch the next person you see:
whatever simply irks you or keeps you awake at night. Lemme hear it! It'll be interesting to read experiences from different parts of the country to see which areas/states have the rudest people.

Well a sales person not saying please and ty is annoying enough, but when I tell them ty and they don't have enough common courtesy to say your welcome..........well that is extremely annoying.
Ok here is another one: In line somewhere and the person in front is on the cell phone. When it's there time in line they expect the casher and everyone behind they to wait while they talk about something stupid on the phone!
Here's a view from the other side of retail:
I used to work at the local Lowe's. I had customer's who berated me for the company changing the name of Christmas tree to Holiday tree. Because, you know, as a cashier, I am definetely the one that made that decision for a national chain. I had customer's ***** about Lowe's being open on Sunday, "the Lord's day", ON A SUNDAY! I'm thinking, you stupid $@ if you and everyone else weren't in here shopping on a Sunday, maybe they wouldn't be open!
My favorite story ever, I wasn't even involved in. We had an older couple that came into the store. The man was using a motorized wheelchair and had a bowel accident. He left diahrea all over the wheelchair and a path of it where he walked out of the store. As my co-worker was bending down and cleaning up her husband's **** the woman decided to complain to the manager that she could see my co-workers underwear and was offended. I'm not even kidding.
