Before and After Pic- Post OP 3 Months
You look amazing and HELL ya you can tell!!
Your doing great don't get discourage yes the weight takes longer to come off than any other surgery and it's like dieting.. but we are dieting. We will diet for the rest of our lives .. we have to change our habits .. we have to eat better for us foods.. and on the occasion splurge LOL I do I say right now I'm 75% great chocies 25% not so great.. I'm working towards more great choices and I gym too ..all with due time.. this is a journey and not a race.
Your going to learn things about yourself that you hadn't realized before this journey of mine has been very emotional... My body right now LOVES the weight I'm at and is very happy so I'm fighting through a plataue but I keep plugging along and I will get there.. sometimes the scale is discouraging but my clothes aren't. I tried on 1x shirts at Macys that they were big.. I was SHOCKED. Hello XL .. I'm getting there.. I can care less what the scales says as long as I'm fitting into 16 jeans.. at one point I was wearing size 30/32 .. I have been heavy my whole life so I have no desire to be a size 8 but a 12 would be nice.. and I don't care what the scale says as long as the 12 fits LOL
Just remember this is a journey and you might of had great results quicker with bypass but I needed something that really helped me along the way change my band habits. WIth bypass I would of been one those people to ate 4 bites of an enchillada vs 4 bites of a broiled chicken.. I had to admit the type of person I am.. .. with the band if I don't make good choices then it reflects in the scale and my clothes.
