I had a slight unfil last week. 1cc was taken out so I am at 7.25 cc. I was too tight since MArch but was hoping to lose weight quicker but not being able to eat much (I know). Anyway. I having been trying to watch what I eat but have gained 8lbs in a week. Help. I am extremely frustrated. I go next week to get some fill back but I am scared to gain anymore.

Were you dehydrated  and now you are able to get adequate fluids in?  Are you eating more foods with salt? How many cals have you been eating this past week? How long are you able to go without being hungry after eating 3oz of protein and 1/4-1/2cup of a non starchy veggie? Are you exercising? Are you drinking 64oz of water? Why are you wanting a fill?  Sorry for all the ?,s, just trying to help.  8 pounds is a lot and I'm sure it's not all from what you have eaten.

adding one item to Kristi's list.. how's your sleep?  I've read that people loose weight better when they get enough sleep.  Reverse might have some effect on gain ?

It could be that your body is holding on to the calories you are now able to give it that it was deprived of while too tight.  It might just be an adjustment period.  Have you been eating a good band diet or have you tested the waters with some things you probably shouldn't be eating.  I know when I had an unfill one time I was eating bread, (which I normally don't eat), and my portion size went up.  I would suggest tracking your foods faithfully.  That will inevitably tell you if it's food or water retention or both.  If you metabolism is simply adjusting you should have a nice weight drop soon if you stick to your diet and exercise program.

Hang in there but I wouldn't get a fill until you do some tracking.  I've been too tight before and it doesn't ever work in the long run.

Take care~
