Truvia Side Effects??

I just bought me some of the new pure crystal light thinking it would be better for me than the normal crystal light and I've had diarrhea like several times a day since using it and a horrible headache one of those days. Could this be coincidence or does Truvia cause side effects like that in some people? Has anyone else experienced this from Truvia. It was my first time trying that sweetener. I have no issues with the sweetener used in the regular crystal light and I drink a ton of it a day.

I'm not sure, but I have had sweetners do the same thing to me before.

I like Splenda and have wanted to try Truvia...how does it taste?  I might give it a shot and if it helps in the bathroom even better...lol ;o)

I actually prefer the regular crystal light taste. I think this pure crystal light isn't as good.

I haven't had any trouble with truvia, I can't handle the other sweeteners but truvia seems to do OK for me. I didn't knoe the crystal light had that, I'll have to check it out!

It's something new that I just saw in the store last week at walmart.

I use Truvia exclusively at home and haven't had any issues but I have heard people having issues with Chrystal light before but if you're used to it...

Maybe it's a withdrawl from the other sweetner that used to be in Chrystal Light?

I just googled Truvia side effects and it has my side effects on there. It says it has a sugar alcohol in it which affects me the same way so I'm thinking it's definitely the Truvia.

 If you're allergic to ragweed, AVOID Truvia/purevia/stevia.  I am, and had ridiculous side effects from Truvia.  The stevia plant is in the ragweed family and can mess with your system if you are allergic to ragweed.  I would have horrible headaches, fatigue, and vomit constantly.  Thankfully this was pre-band!

The company told me there is a very small (they said less than .05%) chance of a reaction, but mine was severe.  It's a shame because I love the taste of truvia, but I simply can't have it anywhere near me.

That sounds pretty severe. I'm not allergic to ragweed but I think I'm still going to steer clear from Truvia.

I had the same reaction to that Crystal light and other truvia stuff. I'll stick to my un pure chemical ladden crystal light I drink a ton of it a day. I gave up to many bad things so I'm not gonna worry about this thing. Also I like the Hawaiin punch sugar free and it's cheaper!
