Too tight or swollen from stuck episode?
Need a bit of help..
I had a fill on Tuesday and was on a liquid-mushy transition for 48 hours. I ate lunch Thursday just fine (a little discomfort but I expected that), however I got stuck at dinner. I took it easy for breakfast and it went down slow but steady, and did the same for lunch. Dinner, again, didn't want to go down! I don't know if it's because I got stuck (which was my own fault, too big of a bite not chewed well) or if I'm too tight from the fill.
I don't want to schedule an unfill if it's just swelling, but I don't want to stay too tight for too long. Any advice?

I guess I should add, it's been a tough week and my stress level is sky high. My Mum is manic depressive and this week is the anniversary of her mother's murder, so she's been worse than usual this week. I had an altercation with my boss this afternoon that sent me into a crying fit as well. I know stress effects the band, and it's obviously not helping matters.

Stress will do that to your band, Why don't you go back to liquids for at least 48 hours and let all the swelling go down. Then you can slowly start back on mushies for a day or two and if all goes well and you know you are not under any stress. You can move onto soft foods, but the second you start to feel like your band is too tight, then you should probably consult with your band surgeon.
Try to remain calm and relax. Stress is hard enough to deal with without having to deal with being stuck.

I know the feeling of getting stuck once in a great while. Guess I am lucky. My Dr has us when stuck go on liquids for 24 hours, then liquid mushies 24, then mushie 24 then regular food. I think that is why I don't have many band stucks. Try this and see if it helps!
