Reboot (Semi long post)

Due to a lot of stressors, work and personal I just threw up my hands and said "the hell with everything!" and start back down that ugly, lonely road of frantic and thoughtless eating. I gave myself many excuses not to excercise on a regular basis and even went further into "bad behavior" I BECAME A WHINER!  I have such a low tolerance for this in others and I was leading the band.  I gained six pounds in less then two weeks but when you eat ice cream, candy bars and pizza instead of lean protein and fresh produce there is bound to be some weight gain.
I stopped coming to this board on a regular basis and deleting good stuff that was e-mailed to me from band sites and tried to act like I never had WLS.

I stopped ingoring my soft signals of the burps and hiccups and let myself get to stuck episodes then I had two major episodes of throwing up and got too tight from it all.

ENOUGH...

On Friday I had a slight unfill (sounds kooky but the tightness and throwing up scared me) and am back to listening for the signals that work for me. Today I went shopping and got fresh produce, lean meats and cheese sticks for snacks.  I have started back drinking water like I need to do and have made myself a written goal list including increasing exercise and a host of others things.

Bottom line I am going back to be good to me and let go of things I am trying to control and IT FEELS GOOD!

Feeling in control does feel good. Glad you got it out of your system.

Dieting is difficult! :-( If it weren't............we'd all be thin! This has been a very difficult month for me. My eating hasn't been as healthy as it should be recently, n I gained 4 pounds back so I also am trying to get back into the diet mode.

Lunch today was the Chinese buffet and I got crab legs, prawns, chicken and cantelope. No rice or noodles. I think I am going to start doing this several times a wk. instead of once a wk.

I'm also going to order some more protein drinks.

Good luck!

At least you only had a week long relapse. I have been self sabbotaging myself for 6 months.
I hope to gain inspiration from you.

I know the difference and I like the difference. I have worked to hard to just stop now and go backwards.
