Clothing size still the same

Hi

I am 33 lbs down and my pants have gone from size 24 to size 18.

But my tops are the same size! I tried some 22s on and they are tight in the bust and across the shoulders.

I must have been busting out of those old size 24 tops and not even known it.

I lose from the waist down much faster too.  I can't wear any of my old pants and have had to buy new ones.  But shirts and blazer...a different story.  The difference is I can now actually button the blazers I used to have to wear open.

I'm down 29 pounds and none of my sizes have changed...but then I've always been someone who didn't mind my clothes fitting kinda snug, not trashy tight but I wanted them to FIT and my jeans have always been tight, I do notice they fit looser though. And could maybe go down a size but it's not necessary yet so I'm saving my $$. I'm sure your top will catch up with your bottom...no worries!

Hi,

You are doing fantastic to be in an 18 after 33lbs!!  It took me like 50 to get into an 18 lol.  But you do make a very good point about being in too tight of clothes an not realizing it.  I always thought I was a 24 starting out, but in reality all the 24's were waaay to tight and a 26 was really what I should've been wearing.   I wear a-2 sizes bigger top, all because of my stomach -- needing a bigger top because of your bust line is a much better reason : )

I'm the other way around.  I will go down in size in tops first before I go down in pant size.  So I was wearing misses tops and had to wait a few weeks before my ass fit into misses pants.

I wish I was from the bottom up but I'm definelty a loose on top first. The first new thing I need to buy is a new bra!  My stomach/hips are the last to go! K

I'm with you. My bras are on the tightest hook, and the cup is too big. I have 2 slumber type bras that fit, and I'm wearing them. My jog bras are still OK and I can put them in thed drier now :) Definate 16 on the top, but the last 16 bottoms I tried couldn't be worn comfortably (at all). Gonna try them again next week, as I need a couple pairs of shorts for vacation, and pretty soon they won't be selling shorts. And here in AR, it's shorts weather through all of September and most of October.

I'm down almost 40 pounds and barely lost a size in top OR bottom.  I think I've lost 6 inches by last measurement.  So frustrating.  :x

I've lost 5 inches from my waist but haven't measured anything else.

I was so looking forward to wearing a smaller size top, and getting rid of the hateful bra extender I had to wear as none of the bras in the biggest bra shop went up to my size.
