Actually, when you go back to solids, you may start losing again.  Many people who don't weigh themselves every day for an extended period of time aren't familiar with their body's natural ups and downs.  If I eat refined carbs and/or sweets, consume salt and/or don't drink enough fluid, I can expect to see weight gains.  How much?  Eleven and one/half pounds between the day of surgery and the next is my record.  Other than that, my record is 9 pounds in one week.  I, personally, have found that I don't lose weight unless I weigh myself every day, as it keeps me honest.  I'm bringing my scale with me on vacationi when we go to Provincetown in August.  (Too bad I can't do that on vacations when we fly.)
I lost 12 pounds in the 13 days preceding surgery, 5 the week following surgery, 2 the next, and then nothing for several weeks.  It's normal.

I'm one week post-op (June 23) and was supposed to do liquids till e 4th but when I saw the dtr today, they told me to start pureed. I truly believe that sometimes we don't loose bc we don't eat enough. If I lose nothing tomorrow, it's not bc I ate pureed it's bc I only ate like 500 cal. The days you lose the most are those 1000 cal days of high protein. And as I saw this, I think may drink 2 more shakes before I go to bed.
