Help! Stuck triggers?
Well, I guess it's true what they say: you think you've been stuc****il you get stuck. Yowza.
Has anyone noticed a connection between dehydration and sticking? Since my last fill (about a month ago) I have been getting stuck. I don't think I am too tight because sometimes I can eat A LOT.
I also feel like it might be a time-of-day thing. Morning and afternoons are tough, but evenings are usually fine. This seems weird but sometimes it happens with the first thing I eat of the day - regardless what time that is.
Does anyone else notice a connection between any of these things - dehydration, time of day, first meal of the day - and getting stuck?
Thanks!

Yes, yes, and yes. LOL
Many are tighter in the morning and by night can eat almost anything. Dehydration and band tightness go hand in hand, and of course TOM will make a lot of us tighter. Just to add one more thing Stress is a biggie for me, it is like a vise grip on my band. I also have found out if I go a very long time between meals, my band gets tighter. Good luck and rest your band after a stuck episode.

Hi Liz....Well all I can say is that Mari said about what I would say about the band having a mind of it's own, but I would never want to be without mine. I live in the hot humid south and I have noticed this year (air is broken) that since I am home on the weekend that my band stays really tight the entire two days. It is tough. When I go to the mall and walk my 5 miles it loosens up and then I can drink all of the water that I want. It is weird how I can eat with it tight, but I can't drink. Hang in there and take it one meal at a time and you will be a success. Staying on this posting site really helps to give me motivation and keeps me on track. Best of luck on reaching your goal...........Lena
