I had terrible left side port pain. It felt like burning and stinging pain and it was tender if I leaned up against the kitchen counter. My band had slipped and I was revised to the VSG.

I'm doing good, but am still feeling some damage from the band. I have nerve damage and some days it's so freakin painful.

Sorry, I'm confused, are you talking about your port or your band? Your port shouldn't change with a fill. My port pulls when I move and sometimes gets sore like a staple is pulling on my internal muscle that it's stitched to. Food should not affect your port.

You could be having radiating pain from your band but you should definately have things checked out.

I have the same confusion as Lisa. Is it pain in your band area (chest) or port (abdomen)?

I think you need to see your doc about this, especially as it's been going on for 6 months.
