I have a long story so I'll try to give the short version. I had my baby girl March 7 2009 at the weight of exactly 500 lbs at that weight I had a decent pregnancy considering no Diabetes or Pre clampsia but it was taking it's toll on my body I could barely walk or breath so the induced me and after 36 hours of labor they gave me a C-section I had one complication after another and was not in good shape. Calleigh my daughter had an infection so we were both in the hospital for a week. When we got home I could barely take care of her my husband ended up losing his job because of all the work he was having to do at home then having to go work all night.
I was sick all the time I have a huge umbilical hernia and my gallbladder went horrible acid reflux joint pain and fatigue and depression. I felt like most days I was a horrible mother and what was the point. I then decided I was being an idiot and was going to take care of myself and get weight loss surgery.
No doctor in Las Vegas would touch me because of my high weight so I decided to start on my own and lost weight slowly but surely on my own. I found a wonderful Dr who said he would take me when I lost a bit more weight. I had Realize Band on Feb 16th at the weight of 420 lbs and 3 weeks later had to have my gall bladder out because it was DONE! And now today I weigh 359 lbs. I have a long way to go and have a battle still. But I'm able to play with my daughter my hubby has a full time job that he is able to go to every day. I have energy and hope for my life.
Again sorry for the long story and not a lot of punctuation. I just wanted to share a bit about  myself because I read about everyone else but don't offer anything. Thanks for reading if you've made it this far!!

I'm so happy to hear that you're down over 100 pounds since you had your baby.  That's a wonderful accomplishment and I wish you many more lost pounds.  The good thing about having your gallbladder out is that it won't ever bother you again.  I had mine out 20 years ago and I've never missed it.  Good luck and keep us update on your journey.

Congratulations on your improved health!!!  And best wishes for continued improvement.  Sounds like you are being a great mom because you want to be healthy enough to be there for your daughter.
