Confession is good for the soul...
Hello All,
The past few days have not been good. I had been waiting for my period to come (it was 2 wks late!), so my stress level has been up. It finally came on Monday. Since then, I've been eating everything - bigger portions, cake, brookies (which are brownie on the bottom & chocolate chip cookie on top = deadly!!!), etc. Plus, I haven't been getting in all my water. Although I've been good with my workouts, I still managed to gain a few pounds.![](http://images.obesityhelp.com/_shared/images/smiley/msn/dontwannasee.gif)
So, I've decided to come clean so I can start again.
I threw away the desserts this morning. I am vowing to eat the RIGHT SIZED portions. I also think I'm probably due for a fill since I've only had one since my surgery in February.
If you've taken the time to read this, thank you. I needed to get this off my chest so I can get back to the rules and the business of getting healthy and looking and feeling better.
My scale has me around 264 as of this morning. I want to hit the 250's for my next small goal. I know I can do this. I need Mr. Motivation to come and find me.

I will confess right along with you. My daughter's wedding was this past weekend and I ate badly. For the rehearsal dinner I ate a steak and cheese quesadilla (which isn't that bad) but I also ate lots of chips and salsa and had a pina colada. Then on the wedding day they had Puerto Rican food catered and I had this pork that was so delicious. It just melted in your mouth. I had a couple pastllios (I may have spelled that wrong). I also had 2 1/2 slices of wedding cake (which was carrot cake...yum!!!!). Needless to say I also didn't have time to workout during this time either. So when I weigh in tomorrow I am sure there will be some weight gain.
Oh well it was my daughter's freakin wedding!!!!
