Hi everyone!!!

Just wanted to stop by and check in and say that I did have LB surgery on June 6th, had no pains at all, no chest, shoulder, incision, nothing!  I feel blessed that it was so smooth.  I did plan for the gas pains and bought the gasx strips, looks like those may just be in the cabinet now...:)  I started pre-op diet on May 25th, and from that date til now I have lost 26 lbs.  I was back to work 4 days post-op, and push mowing my lawn on day 6! :)  I am truly shocked that I have done so well.  I hope many others have done this great!  I did go to class with this girl that had rny the same day as my surgery, and she ended up being my room-mate.  I felt so bad for her, she was in the craziest pain I had ever seen.  I saw her again at our one week post-op appt, and she was still in a quite a bit of pain.  I am very glad I chose LB for me, it was and is the best choice for me, and I am very dedicated to following all instructions.  I know there has been others that have had it this easy also, and thank goodness for that!  I will figure out how to add the ticker, and check back every now and then, but to be honest, I am having fun, loving the new me, and having a blast!  Not going to make much time to be inside. :)  Have a beautiful day everyone, and best wishes to EVERYONE, and EVERY WLS choice made, we all have the losers bench on our side! :)

Welcome to the "losers' bench"!  I felt like I'd been run over by a truck post-op, but I had a hiatal hernia repair that made things a bit more challenging and painful for the first few days.
Keep us posted on your progress!
Steph
