Three year anniversary
Three years ago today I received the gift of my lap band. I haven't lost much in the past year-a fluctuating 10 lbs depending on the day; I am still happy. Just had to have my gall bladder out and was told that is common amoung weight loss surgery people. I am a size 12 on a really good day and a 14 on some others. Am considering surgery to remove the tons of loose flesh from my arms but need to find the money first. Could use a tummy tuck too! I am thankful for my band and the energy it has given me to keep up with my two wonderful boys.

I love how you recognize the band as being a "gift." I always say that's why I am so thankful to my wonderful Surgeons- they provided me with the wonderful tool/gift to giving me a wonderful life that I could have NEVER imagined at 333 pounds!

all the weight has been lost post-op..I LOVE MY BAND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
highest weight: 333 pounds (I know I gained after my last "weigh in" in the doctors office so probably it's more like 340 pounds)
current weight: 151 pounds (7/12/11)
I've been at goal (165 pounds) for 6 months now and now on maintence. I tend to go up and down depending on time of the month and such! 
I am so proud of your accomplishment. You have really motivated me some more to know that I can get down to 150 lbs. I keep telling myself that at 305 originally, I should be satisfied to get below 200 but I can do it....you did it...I know it wasn't easy but it is an obtainable goal. I just gotta keep my head motivated so my body will follow suit.

They say I have an eating disorder but I say, I have my eating in order.
