You may want to educate yourself online because coffee has little to no calories as long as you don't add a bunch of stuff to it. You can also drink stuff like diet orangeade and such. There is no need to restrict yourself solely to water because that will cause you to get tired really fast and possibly quit. My motto is there is no need suffering for no reason unless its because you're giving something up for religious reasons like a holy fast or something.Other than that...it isn't that serious or worth the punishment and after having lost 126+ lbs in one year...I can say that I kind of know what I'm talking about.

Left the band and rocking with RNY.
They say I have an eating disorder but I say, I have my eating in order.

Buck up, Little Camper.

It'll be better before you know it and you'll be glad you did it!

Drink some black coffee, though, wouldja? Before your brain crumbles and falls out yer ears?

Way to go Brock!  You are doing a great job.  This is the hardest point but you will make it. Go with the black coffee, I never could get off my coffee and if I tried at the same time as going off sweets I would have killed someone. I go through severe withdrawal from sugar and I remember years ago when I was doing it while teaching kindergarten and pre-k, I was afraid I would take out the entire right side of the class room, just in the morning! We ended up going outside to play spelling and numbers kick ball for the majority of the day to treat Mrs. K's raw nerves. Hang in there, day by day or hour by hour. What you cannot keep up for a lifetime you can do for the next hour. Keep up the good work and keep checking in. We are all in your corner. Sue

Keep going! Day 3 will be easier than Day 2 and Day 4 a little easier than Day 3! The first week is rough, but just get through it and you'll be feeling better than ever shortly.

You got this!
