lap band repair

I was banded five years ago and about 6 months ago, I noticed that I no longer had restriction. Tests revealed that the tubing from my port to the band was leaking. It has to be surgically replaced. Has anyone else had this done?

One of our veteran LapBanders from the UK had the same issue, got her tubing fixed and is good to go now! 

Is your tubing kinked too or just leaking ? Unfortunately it means another surgery. Usually when your tubing leaks it's because whoever has been doing your adjustments poked thorough the tubing with the needle.

If your going to keep your band then find someone more experienced to do your adjustments.
