I wanted to update after my revision, but it's been a jungle on OH

I am so happy for you!!!!  Yay!!  Sometimes I really wish I could revise, but *knocking on wood* right now my band is working most of the time.  I stil have days where it tightens up for no good reason.    My best friend, Michelle, got revised to the sleeve a few months ago and she is doing very well.  Her esophogus if finally healing.

I am sure you will be a HUGE but skinny success!!

Zee,

I loved reading about your journey - not because you had to go through all of that, but that it's a reminder that we all (whether we have the band, VSG, DS, etc) have had difficult experiences and it's great when we all support one another here at OH.

You sound like a very strong person, and I bet you will achieve your goals!

Oh, and about pressing the broken remote instead of the pain pump ~ hilarious! (although you probably didn't think so at the time....)

Keep up the great work!

Congratulations!!  So happy for you!  I have read about your struggles (it seems like for a while now) and I am happy that you have the issue resolved.  Sounds like you are a peace with your decision -> if I were to go to revision I know the same thoughts and doubts would fill my head.  Thanks for sharing your journey.

You can't measure your achievements with someone else's yardstick!
