Fats????
Hi Everybody, I called my NUT and asked about cream of mushroom soup. I was told if it's not on the list then you can't have it ever! Fats are forbidden, fruit is forbidden. Do any of you think this is realistic? Everyone needs a little fat in their diet. She just says keep getting in tha****er!! Water, water, water! If the scrambled egg fills me the ENTIRE DAY that's good, just eat half and focus on water the rest of the day! Is my NUT NUTS?????
Me personally I think that is BS .
You need to find a new NUT.
here is what mine says .
Calories anywhere from 900 to 1400 per day . (depends on how hard you exercise)
fat 30-50 grams
Carbs 20 grams per meal so between 60-80 per day . ( once again depends on exercise you do)
If that was my NUT I wouldn't ever go back to her . I eat fruit all the time especially in the summer time. Last week for breakfast I ate pineapple, cantaloupe, and strawberries with some Fruit dip yum yum.
I eat fruit all the time .

I agree with Steelerfan...I think you need a new nut.
No fats ever??? There have been tons of studies and articles written about the importance of good fats in people's diet.....like avocados for instance. And no fruit??? Fruit is a perfect example of a good complex carb to have in your diet. I eat plenty of fruits. In fact today I had half of a banana and some berries for breakfast. My before workout snack is 4 apple slices and a table spoon of peanut butter. I have lost 150 lbs. eating fruit and healthy fats.
My nut wasn't so restrictive. She gave me guidelines...like Steelerfan said calorie and carb ranges to stay in. I was told to restrict the bad fat like anything fried. What your nut wants you to do just doesn't sound like a balanced diet to me.

I think you are not getting enough calories and not enough carbs.
If I go below 1000 a day and my carbs get to low I cant do anything and I will get dizzy and pass out and I get extremely tired.
I will get tired if I eat to many carbs but then again I will get tired if I eat to little so I always have to play that balance game .
I personally dont think its healthy if anybody goes below 1000 calories a day but that is just my opinion .
