I nEED HELP FOUR DAYS AFTER SURGERY IM LOST
Let's start with the icky one. Yes, you will have runny poop. As the saying around here goes, "Liquids in, liquids out."
It may take a week for the gas pains to go away. Get moving as much as possible. That will help it dissipate somewhat faster.
As for being hungry, it's completely normal. Some people will feel restriction right after surgery but that is more the exception that the rule. Also, you're still healing from surgery, so you need to relax a bit and let your body do what it needs to do.
Did you get a post-op diet from your surgeon regarding the liquids he allows you to have? This is that is recommended by LapBand:

Liquid Diet (1-2 weeks post-op)
The goal during this early post-operative period is to protect the small stomach pouch. Only thin liquids can be tolerated at this time. It is also important to keep hydrated with lots of water. Other liquids recommended during this phase include:
- clear broth or soup (with no vegetables or meat and not creamy)
- skim milk
- fruit juice
- no-sugar-added popsicles
I had a band revision on 6/16. I also had a hyatal hernia. That is why I had to have the band revised. I was discharged on clear liquids for 2 days, full liquids for 10 and then mushies. I could not see how anyone could go 6 weeks of liguids. As stated, call your surgeons office and make sure there was not miscommunication. Best of luck to you!!
