Got bread stuck and threw up :( now Pain!
I haven't experienced sharp pains near my port, but I've gotten stuff stuck so bad that if I didn't know I had a band, I would've thought I was having a heart attack.
Give it some time and see if it eases. And you know the routine: If you're really concerned, call your surgeon's office and talk to one of the nurses.
Also, go back to liquids for a while. Some say 24 hours.. I've never had to do them that long, but probably at least for breakfast and then something soft for lunch.
Hope you feel better soon.

You probably just pulled a muscle. Give it time, the pain will subside.
In the meanwhile baby yourself with easier foods so that your esophagus and stomach can relax and heal. You may have to just put down the bread or eat very little of certain types prepared a certain way - like really thin or toasted the heck out of. You will see that you won't want it so much because it is not as pleasurable.
Best,
