I purposefully & willfully overate. I had one of my faves fatoosh salad and chicken shwarma. At least it isn't too bad for me!

I'm sure every bander makes the decision to do so...at least once or twice.  I have a weakness that isn't too unhealthy as well...mine is sushi.  And even this early in the game I have made a conscious decision to eat more su****han I need to to be satisfied.  The difference is, it is a decision and it is mindful eating...not unconscious gluttony that I used to indulge in.

mmmm sushi rolls. I just found my new love for sushi in November. I was suprised how good it went down. Especially with how great my restriction is. I can eat four pieces of it and be satisfied. I don't think that is to bad :-)

Oh man I do that once in awhile too...I think we all do.  On monday for my birthday I ate a big piece of pie and cookies!!!  Talk about pigging out and it wasn't even healthy food.  I didn't lose weight this week...surprise.  But it happens...one bite leads to another and another...and before you know it you pigged out.

You just get right back on the plan and keep going.  In spite of my ooops I have once in awhile I have lost 150 lbs so far.

ice cream is my downfall. I bought a carton last week, and swore never again. Well there I was in the supermarket today planning an ice cream purchase. Almond Breeze was on sale, and I bought that instead so I can make low calorie smoothies. I am so proud of myself. What was I thinking, and why?

Purposefully and willfully eating something off program is entirely different from eating because it was there and you succumbed.  I don't know if you ate lots more than you should have -- I'm not commenting on that, but if you say it's my birthday and I'm going to eat a piece of birthday cake and proceed to do so and the next day don't continue to eat like that, it's very different from walking into the lunch room and eating the cake that someone put out on the counter because "it's there."

It was worth every calorie..and it wasn't too bad. From the counters I can find my guess is a 600 calorie lunch with very few carbs and sugar which is my downfall. I was so satisfied with the chicken I didn't even want the baklava I was ogling. One of the perks of being in se michigan..lots of mediterrean restaurants with healthier choices.
