How long does it take for your body to recalibrate after surgery? How long does it take for you to start losing the weight? I know my body is used to getting insane calorie counts...with the cut I am sure it will go into starvation mode and start holding onto the fat. When does it "reset" so to say, and the weight loss begin? My meals are small, at the right times, very healthy and I am exercising. :) I know its only been a very short time and I am not complaining about not losing (bc I am a little)...just simply currious. :)

There is no specific schedule for how your body adjusts to your change in diet.  I think starvation mode is somewhat of of a myth but you will have plateaus throughout your WL journey as you metabolism adjusts.  I had pretty steady weight loss for the first nine months and lost 104 lbs.  I had a couple weeks of no movement but usually from water retention, etc.   Keep your calories at your goal, focus on lean protein and avoid processed foods and simple carbs.  You'll be fine.  The exercise will help a lot too!

Don't stress.  Just follow good band eating behavior practices and you'll be fine!

Best~

Give it time till your body adjusts. From everything I have read on here everyone is different. You are still in healing mode so don't sweat it.
I have lost steadily, was scared it would slow down now I am on soft/pureeds but it hasn't. I track everything that goes in my mouth on myfitnesspal.com.
Keep up the good work...you are doing everything you are supposed to with eating healthy and exercising and it will start falling off.
